We have developed our TFT-touchdisplay so that you can easily navigate the menu or manage to select additional functions and activate them without loosing perspective. The writing is clearly and easily comprehensible and integrated pictures facilitate a quick navigation - even when it's hectic.

More freedom for your pots with FlexInduction.

Whether you are using one pot or several, you can place one behind the other or have them side by side. Thanks to FlexInduction by Bosch, you have the freedom of choice. As induction heats the pot base and not the hob itself, you can cook on any area of the hob surface you like. You can use your cooker like a conventional induction hob with separate cooking zones or connect it up at the touch of a button. This is how you gain additional space, for example in order to position large cookware, e. g. a roasting pan, wherever you like.

Boiling over is over.

PerfectCook ready means that this Bosch cooktop can also be used with a PerfectCook sensor. The sensor can be bought as an additional accessory. Using PerfectCook will prevent overcooking and boiling over by precisely controlling the cooking temperature.

Preprogrammed culinary success.

With Bosch Assist you have a guide at your side that knows exactly which power level is ideal for the dish you’re currently cooking and can provide practical recommendations. Simply select the corresponding meal category in the Bosch Assist function menu and then the desired meal using the high-resolution TFT-touchdisplay. The cooktop automatically suggests the settings for your meal and provides practical recommendations. Just confirm the suggestions with your fingertip and begin preparation.

Remote Diagnostics: Support served smarter.

It can be stressful if your home appliances don’t work the way they’re supposed to. Remote Diagnostics is here to help. Simply call the Home Connect Hotline and make an appointment for a remote diagnosis of your connected appliance via the Internet. With your permission, the Bosch customer service can then remotely screen your appliance, locate the problem area and give you the clear advice you need. In the event that the problem can not be solved this way, a Bosch service technician can be informed and come to your home to resolve all the issues, equipped with all the necessary parts already in hand. Cooking like a chef.

MoveMode makes cooking fully intuitive and comfortable. In the past, you had to adjust the power level if you had just boiled your soup at level 9, let it cook at level 5 and now wanted to simmer it at level 1,5. Now, MoveMode does the job for you. Activating MoveMode divides the cooking zone into three different areas with pre-set power levels. All you have to do is to move the pot from the front area of the zone, where the food is boiled, to the middle, where the food is cooked, and to the back area, where it continues to simmer.

Controlling the hob made easy.

If you move a pot from one cooking zone to another when cooking, the temperature level does not need to be individually adjusted. As the new cooking zone adopts the old settings such as cooking heat and time – all it takes is the touch of a button to confirm.

PowerBoost: extra added power!

Extra added power: The improved PowerBoost function in our electric and induction hobs adds even more power to speed up the cooking process. For example, you can now boil 2 litres of water almost three times as fast as on a conventional glass-ceramic hob.

Steer your hood by your hob.

Control the functions of your hood via your hob. Both the electric hob and the associated hood are equipped with a Wi-Fi module, enabling them to interact. As soon as your hob is activated, your hood is also switched on and starts extracting annoying steam as soon as you start cooking. When you’re done cooking, the hood automatically switches off after a brief run-on time, so you can be sure that unpleasant kitchen odours really do disappear. If you want to control the hood directly, just activate manual mode on the hob controls with the touch of a finger. You can then control your hood’s power levels via the user interface on your hob. In addition to the extraction rate, you can also control the hood lighting via the hob. With just one set of controls, you control it all: your hob and your extractor hood.

Stores your control settings.

If you turn off the cooktop it saves the last selected setting for a short time. If the cooktop is switched of within a short time again the former settings are still available.

Induction hobs generate heat only where it is needed – in the base of the pan. What does this mean for you? More safety and more convenience. The lower temperature keeps both big and little hands safe from burning. Not only that, but an induction hob brings two litres of water to a boil twice as fast as a glass-ceramic hob, which also saves a great deal of energy.

Achieve best frying results.

The temperature is crucial for frying. Too high will make even the best steak fry too quickly or scorch it. No matter how you like to eat it - rare, medium or well-done: frying meat is made simple now. PerfectFry sensor regulates temperatures continuously during frying and adjusts them precisely if needed.
